In an effort to control the "studentization of students" even from private lessons, one of the centers of study in Hadaeq Al-Ahram in the Giza governorate of Egypt resorted to using "smart cards" to follow the attendance and departure of the students, so that each student has his own code. On a machine in the center, in order to allow him to enter.

According to the Egyptian newspaper "Al Watan", the card also features the ability of parents to follow up on the level of their children and the degrees they receive with all the materials they register at the center, through communication with the Center's administration and inquiring about students through the use of their "barcode".

Modern electronic technology contributes to the obligation of students to attend and not to drop out of the presence of lessons as rumored among students, and parents can follow their children, and once the student is present, and pass the card, a message is sent to his guardian. "The student who does not attend the non-smart card or does not attend will not send a letter to his guardian in the presence of the lessons. The card sends messages to parents about the presence of their children and their scientific level," said center official Abdullah Jamal.

Abdullah stressed that the work of the card this year comes to the attention of the Center to the commitment of students to attend, and take advantage of private lessons.

"There are students who run away from the lessons and keep their fees for themselves and go out with their friends." Despite the limited demand for private lessons, this smart card was very welcomed by parents at the center.

He concluded by saying: «After the idea of the card, any student will be afraid to be absent without knowledge and ordered, and this is in the interest of students before Saleh Center».
