A motorist who tore over the A4 at Schipluiden on Sunday morning has temporarily lost his driver's license. A motorcyclist from the police had trouble keeping up with the driver and clocked a top speed of at least 224 kilometers per hour. Afterwards it turned out that the motorist was under the influence of drugs.
It is unclear how fast the man himself drove. He did not respond to police stop signs, but could eventually be arrested because he was stopped at Rijswijk by other traffic.
The Westland police warns on their own Facebook page about the danger of such driving behavior, because it is very busy on the road due to living / working and holiday traffic.
