Last year, the majority of patients with established for the first time in their lives mental disorders associated with alcohol use, were registered in Moscow - 2.8 thousand. About the same number was registered in the Moscow region.

In the Perm region and the Chelyabinsk region, 2.4 thousand patients with such disorders were registered. In the Republic of Bashkortostan - 2.2 thousand

Next come the Sverdlovsk Region (2.1 thousand) and the Altai Territory (2 thousand).

The least amount of mental disorders associated with alcohol use was recorded in Ingushetia - only one case per year.

Also, a small number of such patients are in Chechnya (59 people), the Nenets Autonomous District (80), Karachay-Cherkessia (101) and Chukotka (103).

In total, in 2018, 75.7 thousand patients with mental disorders associated with alcohol were registered in Russia.

Earlier, the Minister of Health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova said that 70% of deaths of men of working age are associated with the use of alcoholic beverages.
