For the second time in less than a month, Malian Prime Minister Boubou Cissé is on a five-day field trip to the Mopti region, which is plagued by insecurity. His visit comes as new attacks against civilians have plunged several villages.

This week, at least 15 civilians were killed by gunmen in villages in central Mali, according to a statement from the armed group Dan Nan Ambassagou . For its part, the spokesman of the Malian government does not report the attacks, but accuses " uncontrolled individuals who sow terror ."

These events occur when, in the same region, the Prime Minister continues his second field visit in less than a month. After the exiled localities, Boubou Cissé visit this time the flooded part of the region of Mopti. And during the stage of the locality of Tenenkou, where according to witnesses it was carried in triumph, he recalled that security remains his priority.
