An eyewitness of the shooting named James Williams posted the details of the incident on his Facebook. According to him, the attacker had on him a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle, body armor and protective headphones. Williams claims that the attacker tried to break into the bar, but his weapon was taken away and he was later shot by the police.

Other eyewitnesses in a conversation with the media described the attacker as a young white man who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. According to witnesses, he fired continuously for about 30 seconds.

The injured were taken to the hospital, while their condition is not reported. It is noted that at the scene of the attack are working FBI officers who assist the investigation.

It clarifies the Associated Press, the shooting occurred in the area of ​​Dayton called Oregon. In this part of the city there are many places of entertainment, including bars and restaurants.

Not far from the shooting site, the emergency services organized a center where people who were lost at the time of the incident can contact their friends and relatives.

Note that this is the second incident in a day with mass shooting in the United States. On the eve of the 21-year-old resident of Texas shot and killed 20 people and injured 26 more in the city of El Paso.

It is noted that shortly before the incident, a manifesto appeared on the network, which, according to preliminary information, was prepared by the shooter. The author of the text expressed support for the accused in a mass shooting in Christchurch New Zealand and called his actions at Walmart a response to the “invasion” in Texas by Hispanic Latin Americans.

Police are studying this document and, depending on the findings, El Paso may be classified as a federal crime on the basis of intolerance or an act of internal terrorism.

A few days before the events in Texas and El Paso, two more shooting incidents occurred. On July 30, two people were killed and two were injured as a result of the shooting in Sithaven, Mississippi.

The incident occurred at the mall Walmart, whose employees were both dead. The attacker himself and the police officer turned out to be wounded. The media reported that the shooter was previously suspended from work for aggressive behavior towards visitors.

On the same day, four people were killed and two were injured in a shooting in the US state of Wisconsin. The incident occurred in two houses in the neighboring cities of Lake Holly and Lafayette.

The police arrived at an emergency call in the city of Lake Holly and found the bodies of a man and a woman, then went to the nearby town of Lafayette to notify the family members of one of the victims, and found three more bodies there. According to preliminary information, the shooter died.

In the city of Gilroy in California on July 29, three people were shot dead, more than ten injured. The incident occurred at the food festival. According to police, the attacker was a 19-year-old man with a SKS carbine, which he bought legally in early July.

A series of similar incidents with shooting in public places occurred in the previous month. So, on June 23, a shooting took place in the city of Southband in Indiana. One person died, another ten were injured. Earlier in the month, in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during a school graduation result, one person died and seven were injured. Among the injured were four adolescents aged 15 to 17 years and three adults.

Earlier in June in the city of St. Louis, Missouri, several children and a group of adults were shelled from a passing car. A three-year-old child died, another victim, a six-year-old child, was taken to hospital.
