“This is what is happening now, when millions of Ukrainians abroad, I think that in a few years something like this: half of Ukrainians will be here, and half - there,” the Observer portal quotes the minister.

He also noted that “Ukrainian brains” are needed by all European countries.

“Everyone is interested in having more Ukrainians. Everyone loves Ukrainians, because Ukrainians are always a plus and no drawbacks, ”he said.

At the same time, Klimkin stressed that Ukraine is not seeking to "become a supplier of labor in the EU."

According to him, the Ukrainians remain the main value of the country and it is important to take care of their welfare.

“Ukrainians deserve freedom and justice. Of course, welfare is also important, ”the diplomat said.

Earlier it was reported that almost 70% of Ukrainians support the country's accession to the European Union.

In June, Klimkin announced that Ukraine could join the EU by about 2035.
