Then Chupriyan held a meeting at Bratsk airport with the leadership of the regional Emergencies Committee, representatives of the Federal Forestry Agency and the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
Following the discussion, the most effective method of extinguishing fires was developed, a joint strategy for extinguishing fires from the air and the transfer of ground forces by aircraft to the edge of fire sources was determined.
