British police have arrested a 17-year-old man on suspicion of murder after throwing a six-year-old boy from the balcony of London's Tate Modern Museum.

Police said the victim was found on a roof on the fifth floor of the museum in central London and was taken to the hospital by ambulance where he was still in critical condition. Officials said there was no evidence that the boy and the child knew each other.

The stand on the tenth floor is a landmark for tourists and visitors to the famous museum.
