In a new shooting incident on Saturday in the United States, 20 people were killed and wounded in a shopping mall in El Paso, Texas.

"We have between 15 and 20 victims, we do not know how many people are killed," Texas Gov. Dan Patrick told Fox News.

For his part, the mayor of the city de Margo told CNN that the shooting caused "dead", adding that the authorities arrested three suspects.

State Governor Greg Abbott issued a statement saying that "El Paso as a whole was hit today with hateful and futile violence."

President Donald Trump has been informed of the incident and has been following up the situation, the US presidency said, noting that the president discussed the situation by phone with Governor Abbott and Justice Minister Bill Barr.

Later, Trump said in a tweet that reports of shooting in El Paso were very bad and there were a large number of deaths.

US channels broadcast scenes of heavily armed police units near the mall.

The United States often has bloody shootings. Last Sunday, three people, including a six-year-old boy, were shot dead by a 19-year-old boy who shot at a food festival in Gillroy, California.

Two people were killed and one policeman was wounded at a Walmart store in Mississippi on Tuesday.
