Three-time NBA champion Draymond Green has agreed to extend his four-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, with whom he is now tied until mid-2024, his ESPN agent said Saturday.

The 29-year-old could have become a free agent next July, but will remain in the Warrior squad, Rich Paul told the television channel.

Green's contract with Golden State will last another 5 years and is now worth 118 million dollars (106 million euros).

The strong winger is part of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson masterpieces Warriors. He was one of the principal artisans of the three titles won by the San Francisco franchise in 2015, 2017 and 2018.

Since his NBA debut in 2012, Green has averaged 9.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists per game in the regular season. If we focus on his 123 appearances in the play-offs, his average goes to 12.5 points, 9.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists.

Despite the departure of Durant, Golden State is still in its ranks, with Green but also D'Angelo Russell plus Curry and Thompson, four players All-Stars. The franchise, which lost its NBA title last June to the Toronto Raptors, will move next season to a new $ 1 billion arena in San Francisco.
