The LREM deputy from the Rhône added Saturday his name to the list of elected officials of the majority whose permanence has been degraded.

The permanence of the deputy LREM of the Rhône Thomas Rudigoz was degraded Saturday afternoon in Lyon by "yellow vests" which have thrown on the front of the eggs and tomatoes, on the sidelines of a rally in tribute to Steve Maia Caniço.

Towards a new complaint

"Posters proclaiming including 'Justice for Steve' and 'Mother Earth Ceta' have also been affixed to the building", located in the 5th arrondissement of Lyon, told AFP Thomas Rudigoz, contacted by telephone on his place vacation. "I will make a complaint for the principle," he said.

Following this degradation, "I only have one sentence: gratuitous, stupid and useless violence", also posted the deputy on Facebook. "This is not the way oppositions must be expressed and our democracy must be exercised," he continues. "Aggressiveness and violence never bring anything good and they must be condemned with firmness".

Many permanent LREM degraded

About fifty "yellow vests", gathered to pay tribute to the young man who drowned in Nantes after a controversial police intervention, had left the place Bellecour to the courthouse on the banks of the Saone, then Vieux Lyon, where is the permanence of Thomas Rudigoz, said the latter, confirming information from the regional daily Le Progrès .

Several meetings of deputies have been the subject of anti-Ceta (Free Trade Agreement between Europe and Canada) in recent days, their authors wanting to condemn parliamentarians who voted in favor of ratification. Last Saturday, protesters broke up in Perpignan all the windows of the residence where the deputy LREM Romain Grau, and tried to set it on fire. On Thursday, farmers anti-Ceta have walled the residence of the LREM Corinne Vignon member in Toulouse, before dumping dung in front of that of another MEP LREM, Monique Iborra, then in front of the prefecture of Haute-Garonne.
