Ukraine intensifies dialogue with NATO due to the situation with the INF.

This is stated in the statement of the Ukrainian Ministry.

“Given the termination of the INF Treaty, Ukraine is activating a dialogue with NATO to discuss possible ways to strengthen the defense capability of the entire eastern flank of the alliance,” the statement says.

At the same time, the Foreign Ministry indicated that Ukraine was disappointed with the termination of the treaty and "understands the forced actions of the United States."

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry officially announced the termination of the INF Treaty on the initiative of the American side.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the alliance will respond to the breakdown of the treaty with measures in the field of missile defense.
