Manchester (AP) - Football player Leroy Sané has, according to a report in an English newspaper his employer Manchester City, his plans for the future still not betrayed.

"City claims that they do not want to sell Sané, and will only do so if the player - who has not revealed his intentions - says he wants to leave," wrote the Manchester Evening News in their online edition. In addition, the English master would have no formal offer for the 23-year-old. The national player is a desired candidate at the German record champions FC Bayern Munich.

Even if Sané would bring a change request to City coach Pep Guardiola, a transfer would not necessarily work. According to the "Evening News" expected the English master in case of cases, a sum of about 145 million pounds (more than 159 million euros).

Bayern had denied the day before a message of "kicker" and the "image", after which an agreement was reached with the player. "Media reports of today, with the content that Leroy Sané had decided to change to FC Bayern, do not correspond to the truth," tweeted the Munich.

For several weeks there is speculation about the possible record transfer for German football. Last weekend, Bayern coach Niko Kovac had repeated the desire to bring Sané to Munich and was confident that the change would succeed. For the public advance he had been criticized by Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. Bayern apologized to Manchester City.

City coach Guardiola had former Schalke striker Sané in recent games of the season, as his team with Liverpool a head-to-head race for the championship delivered, often considered only as a substitute. However, the former Bayern coach ennobled the native Essener as a "special player".
