A spokesman for the military junta in Sudan Shams al-Din al-Kabbashi said that elements of various military bodies were involved in what happened in the city of Abid, North Kordofan state, and that they were arrested and discharged from service, and handed over to the civil judicial authorities to try them and take necessary action against them.

Kabbashi added that the governor of North Kordofan state and members of its security committee will be held responsible for the killings that took place in White State capital last Monday.

The fact-finding committee, set up by Sudan's transitional military junta, announced the results of its inquiry into the events of the White Monday, which killed six people.

The head of the Security and Defense Committee in the Council, Lieutenant General Jamal al-Din Omar, said in a statement that the incident began with the shooting of members of the rapid support forces in the city.

Million of retribution
In the meantime, the Central Sudan Doctors Committee said that four demonstrators were killed and wounded others, when firing live bullets at the demonstrators during a protest march in Omdurman.

Demonstrations took place in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum and several other cities to demand the punishment of those involved in the events of the White House, which killed six people.

Demonstrators held banners condemning the killings and demanding accountability for those responsible. They also presented photographs of the six victims who were killed in al-Abyad.

He stressed that tomorrow will be the end of negotiations in such a way that enables the parties to establish a civil government within days.

The Secretary pointed out that the meeting was distinctive, and addressed all issues frankly, especially what happened in the White and the incidents of 29 Ramadan, confirmed that the military council took steps on this.
