As a result, parents have to spend a large sum, or choose universal child car seats, which do not always meet safety requirements, the deputy said.
In this regard, it was proposed to consider the issue of providing large families, the poor, having income for each person up to two subsistence minimums and other "least socially protected categories of families with children" with child car seats. As planned by Alimova, they will be available for free for temporary use or otherwise (which is not specified).
“A family with a child, especially not one, needs a car for comfortable movement to the store, kindergarten, school and so on. Many families have been saving for a car for years, they can buy it on credit, get it as a gift. Whatever car is, even in the old and cheap, if children are traveling, there must be a child car seat. Young mothers turn to me with a request to help with child seats, since this is child's safety, but not everyone can afford to spend money on them. And many are considering the option of temporary use until the child is older, ”said Alimova.
Earlier, the State Duma proposed to extend the payment of child benefits to families in need.
