“The dacha owners have only a few days left to freely dig, collect and remove their vegetables on the ships, take measures to conserve their property,” the ministry said.

It is specified that, as of the morning of August 2, the level of the Amur River at Khabarovsk reached the mark of 391 cm, having risen by 22 cm per day. At the same time, in the next two days a further rise is expected by another 60-70 cm.

The ministry added that due to the current situation, the water began to come close to the dacha plots, and some have already entered, on the island territory of the city.

Earlier in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, an emergency mode was introduced in connection with the expected arrival of the flood.

In addition, the state of emergency was introduced in 16 other municipalities of the Khabarovsk Territory after heavy rainfall and a rise in the water level in the rivers.
