On the legislative authority, 67% are for the forces of change and the remaining 33% for other forces not involved in the Alliance of Forces for Change.

The fate of the military junta
The draft agreement, which is expected to be signed between the parties, stipulates that it will dissolve the Transitional Military Council immediately after signing the draft.

It is not known whether the solution will be announced immediately and at the signing ceremony itself, or later, although the draft provides for its immediate dissolution once the agreement is signed.

After the dissolution of the military council, the new bodies formed in accordance with the Constitutional Declaration will manage the country during a 42-month or 39-month transitional period, beginning with a military member for 21 months and then headed by a civilian member for 18 months.

One of the most important tasks of the authorities and bodies formed during the transitional period, the process of reform and ending the war, and overcome the major contentious issues.

Positive steps
Commenting on these developments, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed said that the Sudanese negotiations have achieved positive steps. He pointed out that the negotiations between the parties are going well and that he is optimistic about their success due to the great efforts which have started and bear fruit and achieve good results.

"As you know, when countries weaken, forces with expansionist ambitions will intervene in their affairs," Abu Ahmed said of the dangers of interference from outside parties.

"The multiplicity of parties involved in the negotiations and the presence of others who are trying to intervene will create problems. However, the Ethiopian initiative has been welcomed by the international community, and we are optimistic that the Sudanese parties will reach a solution that satisfies everyone and the Sudanese people are the winners."
