The witness is witnessed Friday at the trial of the American rapper A $ AP Rocky, tried since Tuesday for violence after a fight late June in Stockholm, and who pleads self-defense.

The debates should resume at 09H00 (07H00GMT) in the court of the Swedish capital for this third day of hearing.

The trial must end in the day. However, Judge Per Lennerbrant said Thursday that it could be extended, the court has heard yet no witness.

At the end of the last day of the hearing, the court must announce the date of the verdict, probably under advisement. He will also decide on the release or continued detention of A $ AP Rocky pending the decision.

If the judges found him guilty of violence, the artist could incur up to two years in prison with a fine. Two members of his entourage appear at his side.

A $ AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, placed in custody and then in detention after a brawl on June 30 in the streets of Stockholm, acted in a situation of "legitimate defense", his lawyer Slobodan Jovicic told opening of debates.

This incident makes a great noise. A petition on the internet calling for the release of the American rapper has been launched and has so far collected more than 640,000 signatures.

And the affair has even strained relations between the United States and Sweden. President Donald Trump, who accused Sweden at the end of July of despising the fate of black Americans, dispatched his special envoy on hostage affairs, Robert O'Brien, to the scene.

During the second day of the hearing, the defense questioned the accuracy and reliability of the story told earlier by the victim, a 19-year-old Afghan who said he was "hit" by four people. "Two (of them) tried to cut me with glass," he added in Persian, after the first day of the hearing.

On Thursday, the defendant, in green prisoner's clothes, spoke to evoke this evening of June 30: "We tried to move away, when we went away we were followed," he said. calmly at the helm. He also said that the victim's "fearless" behavior scared him.

A $ AP Rocky, 30, later admitted to "throwing" his victim to the ground before "kicking his arm" - in order to help his bodyguard party by the complainant and a friend.

On an amateur recording broadcast on Tuesday in court, the artist, visiting the Swedish capital for a concert, puts down a young man and then hits him with two of his co-defendants.

The prosecution pleaded the voluntary act, finding that APA Rocky and her co-defendants had assaulted the victim while they had the number and physical strength with them.
