The Public Prosecution Service (OM) appeals to Malek F., the man who stabbed three random passers-by in The Hague. Justice says on Thursday to disagree with the sentence.

F. was sentenced to tbs with compulsory treatment and was declared completely unacceptable. The court also decided that it was not a terrorist act.

The OM also disagrees with the latter. In the case, the justice authorities previously demanded 15 years in jail and TBS because it was estimated that F. was not as ill as he suggested.

Last year, F. fled from Syria stabbed the passers-by on 5 May at Johanna Westerdijkplein. They were mortally wounded, but all three survived.

It is not known when the appeal will be made.
