“The most difficult situation is in the territories of Yakutia, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Irkutsk Region, where smoke is observed in 804 settlements of 38 districts,” the source said.

It clarifies that the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) was involved in extinguishing fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Yakutia, in particular, two Be-200 aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter, which "carried out more than 25 discharges of water with a total weight of over 260 tons."
