In Surgut, an unknown attacked with a knife on the police

In the evening, the police received a message about a suspicious citizen in the courtyard of an apartment building on Pushkin Street in Surgut.

The crew of the patrol and inspection service was sent to the scene.

“Arriving at the call, police officers found an unknown man in the courtyard and attempted to arrest him, the attacker put up active resistance, inflicting deadly knife wounds on one of the policemen and wounding the second,” the Interior Ministry said.

It clarifies RIA Novosti with reference to the Interior Ministry, the wounded police officer used a service weapon to defeat against the attacker.

Earlier, the court sentenced those involved in the murder of police officers in Astrakhan.
