“In Belomorsk, a group of ten tourists does not get in touch. The last time they contacted was on July 24, the route was supposed to end on July 29, ”the ministry’s press service said.

It is noted that the tourists came out on five kayaks. However, they did not get up for mandatory registration of tourist groups in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

They told the rescue team on July 24th that they knew about the storm and were going on a hike with a sufficient supply of food and water to wait out.

Currently, the sea is a strong wind.

In November 2018, four tourists who rode snowmobiles disappeared in Khakassia.

In May 2019, they managed to find the bodies of three missing tourists.
