Kobylkin noted that compared to last year, the area of forest fires increased by 12%.
He also said that 95% of the personnel of the Federal Aviation Safety Board and all available equipment were used to eliminate wildfires in the regions.
According to him, to prevent the spread of fire in the Krasnoyarsk Territory were additionally sent 100 paratroopers, another 100 people will be sent if necessary.
Earlier, the first deputy head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Chupriyan, arrived in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In addition, reserve units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Khakassia and the Kemerovo region were sent to the region.
URA.RU also reported that in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District there were 12 hotbeds of wildfires on a total area of 649 hectares.
