Beirut (AFP) The Syrian government forces have conquered two villages on the southern edge of the rebel bastion Idlib after fierce fighting. The army seized the villages of Djibin and Tal Maleh in northern Hama province on the night of Monday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. Eight members of the government forces and 14 rebels and jihadists had been killed in the fighting since Sunday.
