Media sources said that the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Major General Qassem Soleimani visited Syria recently, to guide the militias of Iran in Syria to prepare for a possible war with the United States.

Sulaimani visited Thursday the city of Bu Kamal in the southern Syrian town of Deir al-Zour on the border with Iraq, Anatolia news agency reported.

Sulaimani visited Iran's armed groups camps amid tight security, met with military advisers of the Revolutionary Guard and leaders of various groups in the region.

She pointed out that Soleimani asked for preparations for a possible war with the United States, and stressed that there is no disagreement with the Syrian regime regarding the confrontation.

The sources pointed out that Soleimani also visited the station (T2) oil in the desert Deir Ezzor eastern, located on the oil pipeline connecting Iraq and Syria.
