The Abu Dhabi Food and Agriculture Authority (ADAAD) yesterday issued a decision to close the cafeteria cafeteria in Al Ain because of the presence of insects in the food preparation areas and to protect the health of the consumer.

The official spokesman of the Authority, Eng. Thamer Rashid Al-Qassimi, that the administrative closure was the result of repeated occurrence of the establishment of irregularities, and failure to comply with the official violations of previously released, and not maintain the health level of the establishment, which may affect the level of food safety and consumer health.

He stressed that the administrative closure order will continue as long as there are reasons for it. It is possible to allow the activity to be resumed after correcting the condition of the establishment and removing the causes of the violations. He explained that the decision was preceded by directing the inspectors of the Authority three violations of the establishment, pointing out that the violations that led to the issuance of the closure decision, In the areas of food preparation, and repeated violation of the item of pest control three times during the year, in addition to the failure of the enterprise official to the provisions of violations, and the maintenance of the health level of the food establishment, which may affect the health of the consumer.
