A local governor of Saga Prefecture in Kyushu, Japan, said, "The reduction of flights to South Korea is becoming a big problem, and frankly it is now a difficult situation."

Yoshinori Yamaguchi, the governor of Yasunori, said in a press conference yesterday.

According to the report, the boarding rate for South Korea flights arriving at Saga Airport as a source of Saga Prefecture was 10 percent lower than last year, and this month is even worse.

The government said that the number of visitors is decreasing due to the absence of flight advertisements due to deteriorating relations between Korea and Japan.

About 90% of Korean flights arriving at Saga Airport are Korean passengers, while Korean passengers account for 60% of all international passengers last year.

Kyushu Asai Broadcasting and Asahi Shimbun Internet Broadcasts also covered the press conference news of Governor Yamaguchi.
