The UAE Red Crescent Society, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, participated in the implementation of the humanitarian initiative launched by the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood two weeks ago to collect toys from UAE children's donations to their Yemeni children.

Reem Abdullah Al Falasi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, said that this initiative, which was directed by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, received a great response from UAE children and community institutions in the UAE .

Thousands of games have been collected for this purpose. The UAE Red Crescent Society (ALRC) has responded to this humanitarian initiative and began yesterday in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, urging children to collect the games.

A fund was set up in front of Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain. The children will buy toys and donate them to their brothers, children of Yemen, through the initiative, which will continue until next Thursday, and in cooperation with the Red Crescent aims to collect seven tons of games in Al Ain.

For her part, said the member of the Advisory Council for Children, Wadima Juma Aldermaki, that this initiative comes on the guidance of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak to introduce joy and pleasure to the children of Yemen, and participation of the joy of the feast by giving children citizens and residents games in the boxes allocated for this in front of the center Aljimi mall.

She pointed out that this humanitarian initiative comes in the year of tolerance and achieve the noble goals of the children of the UAE citizens and residents in support of their brothers children of Yemen.

The initiative was launched two weeks ago in a number of emirates, and aims to collect as many games as possible and transfer them by special plane to the children of Yemen, where a delegation of UAE children will go to distribute the games to their brothers in Yemen to express their love and appreciation and alleviate them in the circumstances that pass By their country.
