Sudanese Attorney-General Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah received the report of the investigation committee investigating the events of the sit-in of the General Command in Khartoum on June 3.

In a statement to the Sudanese news agency, Abdullah said that he would be briefed on the committee's report and recommendations. He said that he would announce some of the features of the report in a way that would not prejudice the justice process.

On 3 June, former Attorney General Walid Ahmed Sayed Mahmoud formed a commission of inquiry into the events of the sit-in outside the headquarters of the army's general headquarters in the capital.

The Commission includes, in accordance with the decision of the Attorney General, heads of public prosecution, senior prosecutors, prosecutors, police representatives and military judges.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, the number of people killed in the sit-in of Khartoum 61, and the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change (leader of the popular movement) the transitional military junta responsible for the sit-in, and said that killed 128 people.

On Friday, the head of the military junta, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, admitted that senior officers were involved in breaking the sit-in, but denied that the leaders of the council had been instructed.
