“The turnout is catastrophic in the south-east of Ukraine, just unexpected for us ... I am afraid that we will bring to the parliament those who wanted to get rid of,” he said on the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that the turnout for special elections to the Rada, according to the latest data, is about 40%.

Political analyst Maxim Zharov, in an interview with the FAN, said that the elections in Ukraine are taking place with a lot of violations, which casts doubt on the legitimacy of the future composition of the Verkhovna Rada.
