The number of Lebanese and Syrian specialists, along with the Algerians who have chosen cosmetic medicine, has become a profession for them, while Algeria is considered one of the countries whose specialization is lagging behind in comparison to other countries.
Cosmetic clinics have invaded the country in the past two years and have attracted more customers, especially in the summer season. Some girls choose a new form to show them, and the operation will go away soon.

Belhadi Wassal, 20, who met Al Jazeera Net at a beauty clinic, said she had tried Filler's injection earlier and did not regret the result. "My cousin's cousin's wedding approached and I wanted my appearance to be beautiful," she said.
Ms. Khadija, 52, added that she had to travel to France for a "cellulite" operation and face-lift, but she no longer needed to spend that amount. "The results I found with local doctors are more accurate and less expensive," she said.

In a related context, Dr. Baraki said that "the Algerian doctors in the field of cosmetics to complete their studies in France and abroad in large amounts, has delayed the spread of this specialization at a time when it was making progress in other countries."

Common errors
"The danger is not to resort to beautification per se, but rather to choose the wrong person and place where the operation takes place," said Dr. Karima Polkabashi. "There are mistakes that destroy women's lives rather than improve their shape."
"I have received cases that have been exposed in hairdressing salons or non-specialist dermatologists. Some of these customers convince the customers that the laser or the filler are safe and that they are specialists in the field, and in the end they will have catastrophic consequences."
For his part, Dr. Baraki warned against resorting to non-specialists in the field of cosmetics and talked about receiving cases of incurable burns due to misuse of laser in beauty salons and dermatologists clinics.
