“It is terrible that today the preliminary conclusion of journalist Kirill Vyshinsky in Ukraine was extended by two months. I repeat my call for the authorities to release him, ”he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, the Kyiv Podolsk court extended the arrest to Vyshinsky until September 19. Representatives of the defense of the journalist subsequently announced their intention to appeal the decision of the court.

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, called it a disgrace to prolong the arrest of Vyshinsky.

Vyshinsky was detained in Kiev on May 15, 2018. He is suspected of supporting the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass and treason.
