Zarif: European countries are not willing to pay for the preservation of a nuclear deal

“I think that the Europeans want to keep the FIDD, but, unfortunately, they are not ready to pay, they are not ready to invest in their own security,” the minister told reporters, TASS quoted him as saying.

Zarif said that ultimately the EU countries "allow the US to set the agenda."

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he plans to hold talks with the leaders of Iran, the United States and Russia Hassan Rouhani, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin on the topic of the Iranian nuclear deal.
