Google has announced the development of the translation of the camera by the application of "Google Translate", where the company is counting for the first time on the translation of neural machinery, in addition to many new features, including automatic language recognition and support 60 additional languages.

The application allows the user to translate writings in the surrounding environment, such as road signs or menus, directly by directing the smartphone's camera towards the text to be translated.

Previously, the user had to specify the language to be translated manually, but now the Detect language function automatically selects the language, and the feature of this function is shown when traveling to areas where multiple languages are spoken.

The Direct Camera translation function currently supports 60 additional languages, including Arabic, Hindi, Malaysian, Thai and Vietnamese, so the total number of languages for the camera translation function is currently 88 languages.

The application no longer translates from English into other languages, but it supports direct translation between many languages without relying on English as an intermediate language.

GoogleTranslate supports more than 100 languages, but many are not fully supported.

The camera's direct translation function relies on strong artificial intelligence. For the first time, Google announces the use of the neuro-machine translation function to translate the camera. The company confirmed that this method provides more accurate translations while reducing the error rate in some language pairs by 55 to 85 percent.
