Nevertheless, there is no particular love for Ukraine, because everyone is already beginning to understand what is happening in the country. Also comes the realization that the Minsk agreements, in fact, are not being fulfilled by the Ukrainian side, ”said the senator.
According to Tsekov, if the EP wants to solve problems in the Donbas and restore the normal situation in international relations, measures should be applied to Ukraine itself.
“These measures would have a very good effect. But the sanctions policy against Russia is unfair and wrong, therefore it does not achieve its goal, ”he believes.
Earlier, the Ukrainian delegation called on the deputies of the European Parliament to maintain and strengthen the sanctions against Russia in case of non-compliance with the Minsk agreements.
