The EU called on Russia to cooperate in investigating the collapse of the MH17
The European Union called on Russia to cooperate in the investigation of the crash of Boeing, performing flight MN17. The corresponding declaration adopted by the EU Council is published on the website of the European Council.
“The EU calls on Russia to accept responsibility and fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation,” the text says.
It is noted that this declaration is timed to the fifth anniversary of the collapse of the Malaysian MH17 in the Donbass.
The statement says that the EU reiterates "its full support for all efforts to establish the truth."
Earlier, the head of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry said that Malaysia believes that the investigation into the causes of the collapse of MN17 is not completed until the international investigation provided convincing evidence of the guilt of the accused.
