Three countries were offered two each: besides Germany, France, with 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Marc-Antoine Olivier, second Tuesday morning, and David Aubry (10th), and Italy, with Gregorio Paltrinieri ( 6th) and Mario Sanzullo (9th).

In Gwangju, status quo at the top of the diving boards, with an eighth crown in as many events contested for China, this time in the mixed team competition at 3m and 10m.

Russia has resumed its relentless advance in artistic swimming: it dominated the technical team (96.9426), ahead of China and Ukraine, to obtain its fourth title out of five awarded until then.
