Real Madrid coach Zinédine Zidane, who was absent for a few days due to the death of one of his brothers, found his team and led training Tuesday in Montreal (Canada), where the Madrid club is in training pre-season.

"The merengue technician, who had to be absent because of the death of his brother Farid Zidane, led the team during the morning training that took place at the facilities of the Montreal Impact," wrote Real in a statement.

Zinedine Zidane had momentarily left the internship Friday because of "personal reasons", the team remaining led by his deputy David Bettoni. Real made Saturday the death of Farid Zidane.

The Spanish club has planned to train this week in Montreal before joining the city of Houston, Texas (USA), where it will begin its summer campaign with a shock Saturday against Bayern Munich as part of the International Champions Cup, pre-season friendly tournament.

The "White House" will play its first official match on August 17 during the first day of the Spanish Championship, with a trip to Celta Vigo's pitch.
