Constitutional Court of Ukraine recognized constitutional law on decommunization

“The court recognized the Law of Ukraine“ On Condemnation of the Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes in Ukraine and Banning the Propaganda of Their Symbols ”in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutional), the message says.

Earlier it was reported about the action of the fund “Return alive” against the repeal of the law on de-communization, which was held outside the building of the COP in Kiev.

On May 19, the former Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, said that the process of de-communization had ended in the country.

In 2015, Ukraine adopted the law “On decommunization”, according to which all objects reminiscent of the Soviet past are subject to renaming.
