The Yemeni human rights organization Human Rights called on the United Nations Human Rights Council to set up a commission of inquiry into violations in Yemen at the next session of the council in September.

The organization said in a report issued in France that the raids of the Saudi-UAE coalition killed 375 people, including 165 children.

It added that the coalition launched 150 raids on Yemeni territory during the past year.

The organization confirmed the continuation of the recruitment of children by forces loyal to the coalition and the forces of the Houthis and forces of Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, and said that these forces tortured hundreds of people.

Saudi Arabia has arrested and abused Yemeni fishermen in Saudi territory.

The organization said that the lack of accountability of the Saudi-UAE alliance and other parties to the conflict caused continued violations against the Yemeni people.

The Houthis, the United Arab Emirates combat forces and Yemeni government forces have practiced enforced disappearances, torture and arbitrary detention against dozens of people.

Saudi Arabia also detained and abused Yemeni fishermen inside its territory, and the Houthi armed group planted antipersonnel mines, the report said.

"The longer the international community is waiting to hold accountable the Saudi, Emirati and Yemeni war criminals - the two sides - the Houthis and Hadi - the more difficult it is to rebuild Yemen," the report quoted the president as saying.

It also warned that the actual impunity enjoyed by the warring parties is encouraging continued violations and the destruction of Yemen in this situation.

"At a time when the international community is hesitant to take urgent measures, such as ending military support for warring parties and supporting accountability, the people deserve the opportunity to live in peace like any other people," she said.
