Minister of Transport Élisabeth Borne was appointed Tuesday evening Minister of the Ecological and Solidarity Transition to replace François de Rugy.

François de Rugy, questioned by Mediapart for his expenses when he was President of the National Assembly and Minister of State, announced that he was leaving his post as Minister of the Ecological Transition "to defend himself".
