According to Xinhua, most of the rescued migrants came from sub-Saharan Africa.
It is noted that they were provided with necessary medical care and were taken to the Mediterranean ports of Morocco.
Earlier it was reported that a vessel carrying 86 migrants from Libya sank in the Mediterranean, 82 people were missing.
