The former special prosecutor Robert Mueller will testify a week later than initially intended. The chairmen of the two committees of the American House of Representatives, for which Mueller will appear, have announced this.
The former FBI director would initially testify on July 17 about the report he wrote about Russian interference in the US election. That will be Wednesday, July 24.
The report revealed that there was insufficient evidence that the Trump campaign team had conspired with the Russians. Mueller has indicated that he has no intention of saying anything that goes beyond what is stated in the 448-page report.
