“To break at one moment the communication between Ukraine and Russia, including the railway one, when goods transit to the European Union takes place, and we have international obligations to the EU as part of, including the Association Agreement, we simply cannot,” cite his tass.
He also called the “sensitive” issue of communication with Russia.
Earlier, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan said that the railway communication between Russia and Ukraine "stops by itself."
According to him, in 2018, “for the first time in the history of Ukraine, the number of trips by rail to the EU countries exceeded the number of trips to Russia.”
