“As part of the fulfillment of contractual obligations, on July 12, 2019, the first batch of property from the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system (ZRS) was delivered to Turkey,” the Russian defense department said in a press release to RT.

It is noted that the delivery of the rest of the system to Turkey will be carried out in strict accordance with the terms of the contract concluded with the Turkish side and within the time limits agreed by the parties.

Earlier, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation confirmed the start of deliveries of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to Turkey, as reported on July 12 by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
