Russia confirmed the start of deliveries of S-400 to Turkey

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation has confirmed the start of deliveries of Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems to Turkey, as previously reported by the Turkish Ministry of Defense. Deliveries began at the time agreed by both parties.



“The FSMTC confirms the start of the delivery of the S-400 systems to Turkey, the deliveries will be realized within the time agreed by the parties,” RIA Novosti reports a Russian service.

Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that the supply of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 began on Friday, July 12.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that delays in the supply of S-400 is not expected.

Expert Edward Lozansky, in an interview with NSN, estimated the likelihood of Washington imposing sanctions against third countries because of the C-400.
