"The commission refused to register 17 official observers from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe," a message said on Facebook.

As indicated, such a decision was made, since these persons are citizens of Russia who, in accordance with Ukrainian law, "cannot be official observers."

Earlier, the CEC of Ukraine stated that they registered 436 official international observers for the elections to the Rada, which will be held on July 21.

On July 2, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, Andrei Parubiy, withdrew invitations to PACE observers for the upcoming elections in connection with the restoration of Russia's powers in the Council of Europe.
