Europe 1 has met holidaymakers on an area of ​​the A7, in the south of France, this first weekend of departures on vacation.

A tan, the road of the holidays? Not necessarily. In this first week-end of school holidays, Europe 1 met some rather relaxed tourists on the Lançon-de-Provence area, on the A7 motorway. While the day is classified red in the Paris region and orange on the rest of the country, many take advantage of their break to start disconnecting.

This is the case of Wided, who bathes his three children in a huge fountain, way shower Italian. "They are hot!", Smiles the mother of the family. "We come from Paris, it's a long way", she testifies, watching her children: "Refresh yourself before leaving".

"It's like being in the pine forest"

The Vinci group has also installed giant cushions under the trees, allowing motorists to enjoy the shade. "We put our head under the fountain, because it is very hot," says a future vacationer installed. "You have to water, that people do not stay in their car because of the heat, especially for newborns."

Hichem took advantage of his cushions to take a nap in the middle of his journey. "These mattresses with small balls in it, it's comfortable," he says. "It allows to rest a little before taking the road ... With the sound of cicadas we believe in the pine forest, it feels good!"
