Five dead after car crashes into the facade of a café in Belgian Limburg

In the Belgian town of Kortessem in the province of Limburg, five people were killed in a traffic accident on Saturday morning. A car bumped into the facade of a cafe.

The driver of the Audi lost control of the wheel and then ended up in a café that is located at an intersection. All five passengers did not survive the accident.

According to various Belgian media including VRT , the car had no Belgian license plates. The building was severely damaged by the blow.

It is not yet clear exactly how the accident could have occurred.
