For the 103,800 baccalaureate candidates admitted to catch-up, there are only a few days left to prepare. Europe 1 met a professor of economics who gives a last-minute helping hand to his students.

REPORTAGE

For the 743,000 candidates this year, the baccalaureate results fell on Friday morning. If nearly 77.7% of the candidates were received from the outset, 103 800 of them must catch up. These students, who were between eight and ten of average, will have to present to the oral catch-up from July 8, choosing one or two tests to iron.

To maximize the chances of success, some teachers do not hesitate to prepare students enrolled in catch-up, such as Mr. Druart, a professor of economics that Europe 1 met at the time of the announcement of the results. "I'm just telling them how the catch-up is happening because there are so many of them," he says.

"Put in trust" and "handle anxiety"

This weekend, part of his work will focus on the psychological support of students, sometimes "anxious". "You have to put them in trust and manage this anxiety, a young girl is too stressed, I'm going to catch her because if she stays in her stress, it will not work," he says.

In other cases, those who do not have the bac: the recalés are, this year, 57 400 (7.9%), or 0.5 point more than a year ago.

According to the minister, questioned in the evening by TF1, next Monday, "the final notes that are missing will be there".
